Supporting You Through Recovery with Compassion and Expertise
Addiction affects individuals and families in complex ways—emotionally, physically, and psychologically. At Cognizant Psychotherapy, we provide confidential, personalized therapy for those struggling with substance use, behavioural addictions, or co-occurring mental health conditions across Ontario.
We understand that each person’s journey is unique. Our therapists offer a non-judgmental, evidence-based approach to support healing, reduce harm, and empower lasting recovery.
We begin with a thorough assessment to understand the nature of the addiction, underlying issues, and the client’s goals. This helps us craft a therapy plan that is both realistic and meaningful.
Our therapeutic methods include:

We help clients access additional resources when needed—such as day programs, virtual peer groups, or psychiatric care. Our therapists also assist with planning transitions and long-term aftercare.
Addiction can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. At Cognizant Psychotherapy, our trained clinicians are here to walk beside you—step by step—with compassion, skill, and hope.
